Movnat is the clear leading method of fitness training based on our body’s biology. Their approach and philosophy align very well with a Foresighted lifestyle and we’re unabashed fans, even writing an in-depth primer.

Movnat runs several types of events. This is for the Level 1 and 2 certification events, which are in-depth and gets you certified if you pass the written and physical tests. Many participants are fitness professionals but some are just looking to gain more knowledge about Movnat for their personal practice.

Spread over one weekend, these certifications provide an opportunity to enhance your movement skills, improve your fitness, and deepen your understanding of natural movement techniques.

Level 1 Certification: Your Launchpad

Explore the essentials of the MovNat system in this three-day event. The Level 1 Certification covers:

  • The philosophy, practice, and application of MovNat Natural Movement® Fitness
  • A wide variety of ground, gait, airborne, climbing, and manipulative movements
  • Movement efficiency and general practice efficiency principles
  • Step-by-step progressions tailored for all abilities and fitness levels

You will receive valuable resources such as the MovNat Trainer Manual (version 5.0) and the Level 1 Movement Progression Manual to support your learning journey.

Level 2 Certification: Deepen Your Skills

Take your training up a notch with the two-day Level 2 Certification event. Build on the foundation established in Level 1 and learn:

  • Advanced techniques and deeper understanding of movement skills and efficiency
  • Movement combinations, transitions, and improvisation based on specific circumstances
  • How to challenge and prepare clients for ambitious personal fitness goals

All Level 2 certifications are taught by highly experienced MovNat instructors, ensuring a high-quality learning environment. To achieve Level 2 certification, participants must pass rigorous physical tests, demonstrating efficiency, adaptability, and conditioning in all Level 2 techniques, as well as the ability to teach others effectively and safely. Candidates have the opportunity to submit videos via email for up to six months for any incomplete or failed tests. Upon passing, a certificate will be issued, backdated to the date of the event.

Upon registering for Level 2, you will receive a preparation guide, a Level 2 Progression Manual, and hours of instructional videos to help you master the Level 2 techniques.

A Unique Experience for All

Both certification events cater to individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and experience. The courses focus on practical, mindful movement and progressive, safe skill acquisition. Expect several hours of professional instruction per day, split between morning and afternoon sessions.
