Imagine regaining the strength and mobility of your childhood, moving with grace, balance, and fluidity that you thought was lost. Enter this transformative workshop, where the power of fundamental human movement combines with the art of flows, in a rejuvenating two-day journey.
This workshop rests upon the science of the Neuro-Development Sequence. From infancy to adulthood, our bodies learn movements that form the core of our physical capabilities. This unique method recaptures those movements, retracing the path of natural human development.
Over the two days, you will:
- Engage with fundamental positions such as supine, prone, quadrupedal, sitting, kneeling, and standing.
- Delve into the basic structure of the Neurodevelopmental Sequence, including positions, transitions, and breathing.
- Apply these principles to adult fitness through natural ground movement flows and get-ups.
- Discuss integrating these principles into healthcare, health management, natural movement skill development, and injury prevention & rehabilitation.
The driving force behind this workshop is Bernd Reicheneder, a seasoned MovNat Team Instructor, Curriculum Manager, and Expert Trainer. Growing up in a culture where exploring and playing in nature was the norm, he has been passionately involved in sports and fitness. His experience includes a University Degree in Sports Science, specialized work in movement screening, function and movement restoration, and extensive practice in Shotokan karate. Bernd’s comprehensive approach to fitness, coupled with his deep understanding of MovNat and similar methods, offers a unique perspective on health and movement.
Enlightening yet challenging, this workshop seeks to reintegrate lost fundamental skills like mobility, stability, patterns, strength, movement, and neuroplasticity into your everyday life.
