Rive Droite was established in 2016 by Yasmine, Sofia, and Aurélie, three innovators driven by a shared goal: conducting business with purpose. Inspired by vibrant creative hubs like Brooklyn, Kreuzberg, and Shoreditch, their products embody contemporary Parisian chic, tailored for men, women, and children of today.
At the heart of their vision:
- Sustainability: Instead of producing new materials, Rive Droite harnesses existing ones. Near their workshop in Casablanca, there’s a plethora of quality resources – recycled cotton, industrial denim offcuts, and textile industry overstocks. These materials are transformed through eco-design, a process that respects the environment right from the product’s inception.
- Transparency: Production takes place in Casablanca, optimizing the use of local recycled and upcycled materials. From sourcing to final quality control, traceability remains a paramount concern.
- Commitment: Believing businesses can foster a just and sustainable society, Rive Droite supports various causes. They’ve contributed to associations like La Maison des Femmes and the Women’s Foundation, furthering issues like professional reintegration and combating violence against women.
- Upcycling Vision: By prioritizing upcycled materials, they extend the life of existing fibers, substantially cutting water use and CO2 emissions. Their main materials include recycled cotton, upcycled denim, and nylon.
Their products are also packed with care. Eschewing plastic, items are packaged in reusable cotton pouches, and e-commerce orders are dispatched in recyclable cardboard. Rive Droite exemplifies a fusion of fashion, sustainability, and ethics.
