Founded by two Melbourne-based moms, PaperKrane works closely with a Vietnam-based factory that respects traditional handmade shoe techniques and maintains a fair, happy workplace. The company visits the factory several times a year, ensuring a close relationship and minimal waste in the production process.
PaperKrane also has a strong commitment to social causes, collaborating with artists and celebrities for their “Soles with Soul” styles. These limited edition shoes raise awareness and funds for important charities worldwide. So far, they’ve donated to the ONJ (Olivia Newton John) foundation, Pretty Foundation, Minus18 youth, and Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, with more partnerships planned for the future.
