Their design philosophy emphasizes minimal waste and responsible production, working closely with family-owned UK and European suppliers who align with their sustainable ethos.

Their signature bold prints are engineered to complement the body’s silhouette while ensuring fabric efficiency, minimizing waste. The meticulous process involves digital and manual collage techniques, resulting in dynamic, graphic styles with a narrative woven into each garment. For instance, the ‘Anna Body’ from their first collection honors Anna Kingsford’s legacy, reflecting the brand’s celebration of influential figures through fashion.

ELLISS’s approach to sustainability is comprehensive. They utilize organic and recycled materials, striving to reduce water and fabric waste. Their shared studio-manufacturing space reduces transportation needs, lessening their carbon footprint. Moreover, ELLISS partners with a Slovenian factory known for its waste-management excellence, repurposing fabric offcuts into construction materials.
