Freyja Spence, a seasoned Health and Movement Coach, is a distinguished figure in the field of health and fitness. Her journey started with a passion for dance at age 2, and evolved after a personal health crisis in her teens led her to deeply explore the biomechanics of the human body and the concept of healthy movement. This path led her to the University of Guelph, where she studied Human Kinetics and launched her professional career.
Freyja, now with over 16 years of experience, specializes in pain management, injury prevention, fitness testing, pre & post-operative care, and athletic development through strength training. Her Toronto-based coaching company, Move Daily, caters to a diverse clientele, including coaches, high-performance athletes, individuals managing injuries or hyper-mobility, and those simply seeking improved health and daily ease of movement.
At the heart of her approach is a belief that ‘performance is personal’, and she finds immense satisfaction in helping her clients reclaim their lives and return to the activities they love. She is driven by her own experiences and a commitment to continuing education, always striving to be a better coach and educator.
Her approach to training is multifaceted, incorporating various forms of movement like Olympic weightlifting, Kettlebells, Muay Thai, gymnastics, Strongman, swimming, rock climbing, cycling, and trail running. She has a particular affinity for Animal Flow, finding it to be a beneficial complement and counterbalance to other forms of exercise.
