Editors' note

Introducing alignmentLAB, a movement studio founded by Mina van Brunschot in 2008, focused on promoting conscious and sustainable approaches to fitness through Pilates, Alignment, Barefoot exercises, and lifestyle tips.

Services provided at alignmentLAB include:

  • Weekly group classes (max 8 people) on the mat
  • Personal training on Pilates apparatus
  • Workshops, such as the two-day Move Your DNA workshop
  • Retreats for a deeper immersion in fitness and wellbeing
  • Online training (first 30-minute session is free)
  • Outdoor personal training sessions

Mina and her team at alignmentLAB are passionate about helping individuals achieve better health and improved well-being through natural movement methods. They believe that a daily dose of movement is an investment in one’s health and that everyone has more influence on their health than they might think.

The vision of alignmentLAB is to inspire people to move more diversely and embrace their true selves. By teaching the principles of total body alignment, the studio aims to bring joints into a neutral starting position for exercises, enabling individuals to quickly and easily assess where exactly in their bodies more flow is needed.

A new course, “Sterk en Stabiel for 50+,” is designed to improve balance and mobility. Taking place twice a week over four weeks, this course is perfect for those who want to engage in gentle yet effective exercises that strengthen bones, muscles, and protect joints. It is based on the exercises from the book “Dynamic Aging” by Katy Bowman.

In alignmentLAB, individuals can experience natural movement techniques based on Pilates, Nutritious Movement, and other natural methods. With lifestyle and movement tips for use at home and work, clients can achieve faster results.

Our standard modern lifestyle is making us weak, unhappy and for most of us, eventually sick. It’s a shame, because the antidote is known and simple: be more active, avoid eating processed crap, and connect more with nature and each other.

While simple, it isn’t easy. Foresighted makes it easier though, regardless of where you are in your journey.  Discover all the free resources available below.

Be brave. Be strong. Be foresighted.
