The London School of Capoeira Herança is the first official Capoeira school in the UK. It was founded by Master Silvia Bazzarelli and Master Marcos dos Santos. Here, Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that blends dance, rhythm, music, and graceful movement, is taught and celebrated.
The School operates both online and from a full-time training studio where lessons are provided five days a week.
Passion for the art form is evident in the team’s dedication to teaching. The Masters and Instructors believe that Capoeira is open to everyone, regardless of age or background. They are motivated by the desire to share this unique martial art and its deep cultural roots.
The facility’s vision is anchored in its values of discipline, dedication, and respect. It encourages students to absorb the School’s ethos during their initial seven years of training. This ethos promotes a fluid, artistic style of Capoeira that’s effective for self-defense. Regular and consistent practice is stressed, enabling students to overcome difficulties and build strength, confidence, and self-motivation.
The School also integrates Brazilian culture into its lessons, celebrating diversity and equality. It fosters a friendly and positive environment where students can learn and grow. The School is also a registered charity, emphasizing its commitment to the community and the art form it promotes.
LSCH offers a unique opportunity to engage with the dynamic world of capoeira, creating a sustainable, active, and natural approach to fitness and personal development.
