Educate yourself so you’re not vulnerable to social awkwardness

This is the extract of the post so that we know a little bit how to strycture things out here in that post.

The feeling of being socially awkward might be a mental barrier to overcome. Carrying a heavy backpack on your shoulder or balancing on the back of a bench in the playground with your kids might draw unwanted attention.

How do you deal with that and be comfortable training in “non-fitness” spaces? The best way, I’ve found, is to gain a deep understanding of what is biologically normal versus socially normal, see the huge gap, and realize socially normal leads to long term health issues.

Just educating yourself and deepening your knowledge should be enough to shift your perspectives on the cost/benefits trade-off. When you realize the huge benefits physiologically, you’ll immediately see they outweigh any social cost by far!
