I used a quick chatbot tool to demonstrate the type of conversational interface that could be part of a mobile app.
Situation: a user arrives to one of its usual playground with its kids, and the apps recognizes the location and sends a notification to prompt some training.
Please click on the round button in the bottom-right corner to start the bot.
While this short interaction doesn’t mention equipment, a regular user will have previously provided info to the app as to what improvised equipment is available at that particular playground (swing set, benches for balancing, etc.) and if the user is comfortable using it for movement. If yes, then these will become suggestions on subsequent visits.
At all times, the user can just request a different type of moves or add a constraint (all benches are used today, avoid need for benches) using natural language in the conversational UI, and the app will adapt and suggest new moves.
